Check that everything works
Objective: validate a full first run before adding more content or automation. ** Estimated time:** 5 minutes. Prerequisites: a site, indexed knowledge and installed widget.
Validation checklist
Section titled “Validation checklist”###1. Check the site
- The site appears in the dashboard.
- His name and URL are correct.
- You can open his tabs.
###2. Check knowledge
- The resource used for the test appears in Resources.
- His title is explicit.
- His condition is Indexed.
- The source content is accurate and up to date.
###3. Check widget
- The widget is enabled in Settings.
- IA responses are enabled if they are to be used.
- The button appears on the public website.
- The welcome message matches your context.
###4. Test three questions
Put it down:
- a question with a clear answer;
- a reformulation of the same question;
- a question that is not covered.
A proper configuration must provide the information present without inventing an answer when knowledge is lacking.
###5. Check the conversation in the dashboard
Open the Conversations tab of the site. The test conversation must appear with its messages. This view is currently used to view, resolve, reopen, export or delete a conversation; It is not a direct human response screen.
###6. Check the first indicators
The overview should gradually reflect the conversations and messages generated. A delay may exist between interaction and some aggregations.
Criteria for success
Section titled “Criteria for success”Your first configuration is ready when:
- a visitor can open the widget;
- he can send a message and receive a reply;
- a verifiable response based on your knowledge;
- the conversation goes back to the dashboard;
- no sensitive data appears in the test content.
