Connect YouTube

Authorities requested

ELChat uses OAuth withopenid, email, profile, youtube.readonlyandyoutube.force-ssl. These rights are used to identify the account, read chain data and manage authorized comments.

Connect

Section titled “Connect”
  1. Open Integrations hub > YouTube ;
  2. click Connect my YouTube channel;
  3. choose the Google account in the window;
  4. accept authorizations;
  5. select a string in ELChat;
  6. click Connect.

Check

Publish a test comment on a visible video and wait for synchronization. Check the comment, answer manually, and then control the response on YouTube.

The interface also allows to prepare, approve or reject an AI response and to activate Auto-reply. Timelines and volumes remain subject to YouTube synchronization and quotas.

Example of verification

Choose the stringMaison Atlas, post a test comment on a video for your test team, then wait for its synchronization. Prepare an IA answer, reread it, approve it manually and check the result on YouTube before considering Auto-reply.

The channel selection avoids responding from the wrong Google account. Manual validation allows you to control the tone and context before a response becomes publicly visible.
