Understanding anomalies
In To be monitored, an anomaly is reported when a metric varies beyond the configured threshold and sufficient data exists.
Each alert indicates:
- the metric;
- medium or high gravity;
- proof;
- a prudent interpretation;
- a recommended action.
The calculation compares two equivalent periods. An anomaly does not explain its cause: it indicates where to investigate.
#React
- check the period and volume;
- control a connector or collection failure;
- review recent changes;
- Compare with external tools;
- act only after confirming the probable cause.
