Connect your first tool

Before you start

Choose a tool you administer and a simple play action to check. See his connection sheetto know the exact identifiers and permissions.

Steps

Section titled “Steps”
  1. Select the site.
  2. Open Actions IA > Connectors.
  3. Look for the service in the catalogue.
  4. Click Connect.
  5. For OAuth, allow ELChat in the window or path displayed. For an API key, enter only the requested fields.
  6. Check that the card displays Connect.
  7. Open Settings if they exist and select the account, site, property or space expected.
  8. Test a play action and compare the result to the original service.

For Google Analytics, Search Console, Ads, Calendar and Drive connectors, authorization is made in a window that communicates the result to ELChat; the main page remains open.
