Delete Resource

Deletion is useful when a resource is obsolete, imported by mistake or no longer to be used in the responses.

Check:

  • the title;
  • the name of the original file;
  • the site concerned;
  • the possible presence of a new version;
  • impact on the issues covered.
  1. Open Resources.
  2. Find the right map.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. Read the confirmation.
  5. Validate.

The treatment removes the resource and its related indexed elements.

::danger[No visible restoration]

No restoration route for an deleted resource has been identified. Keep the source file in your documentary system if you might need it later. :::

  • the resource no longer appears in the search;
  • an issue covered solely by this source no longer contains the old information;
  • quality and coverage of knowledge remain acceptable;
  • the replacement resource is indexed if it exists.

The pages and products have their own management screens. Check their business tab before concluding that a file deletion has removed any content associated with a business import.
