Understanding Agents

An ELChat agent is a digital collaborator specialized in a name, objective, tone, skills and, if necessary, authorized workflows.

Several agents can be active on the same site. When there are more than one, ELChat analyses the demand and selects only those whose objective corresponds. Several agents can intervene when the message contains several different intentions.

A defined agent by default is used as a backup when no clear match is found. There can only be one default agent per site.

Controls remain in place

An agent can only use his/her checked skills and authorized workflows. The connector permissions then remain the last check before execution.
