Enable, Reconnect or Disconnect

Understand the states

Reconnect

For OAuth, click Reconnect and again grant permission. For a static key or token, reopen the form and provide a valid value; if no replacement form is proposed, disable and reconnect.

After reconnexion, check the Settings from Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Ads or Meta Ads: account or property identifier remains necessary.

Disconnect

1. Open the connector card.
2. Click Disable.
3. Confirm.

ELChat will no longer be able to call the service for this site. For full revocation, also remove the application, key or token from the external platform.

The connection and permissions are distinct

Disable a connector shuts down its access. Blocking an action in Permissions keeps the connection, but only prevents this action.

Example: Replace expired token

If Slack displays Exhaled authentication, create or recover a new token in the Slack app, use Reconnect, then request the channel list. If the test channel appears, access is restored; You can then review the permissions to write.

Reconnection replaces authorization, while the reading test checks that it is aimed at the right workspace. Disabling the connector is useful to shut down access, but does not always revoke the old secret at the supplier.
