OAuth window blocked

Symptoms

Clicking Connect opens nothing, the window closes too soon or ELChat does not get the result.

Solution

Section titled “Solution”
  1. Allow pop-up windows for the ELChat domain.
  2. Disable temporarily the extension that blocks windows or cookies for this test.
  3. Relaunch the connection from the initial ELChat page.
  4. Complete the authorization without manually closing the window.
  5. Wait for the message of success or failure in ELChat.
  6. Check the badge, then test a reading.

For Google tools supported by the window feed — Analytics, Search Console, Ads, Calendar and Drive — the main page should not be replaced. If an old window has remained open, close it before starting again.

A company browser policy may also block this route. In this case, ask your administrator for permission from the ELChat domain and the OAuth provider.
