Connect Google Calendar

Google Calendar allows ELChat to view availability, offer slots and manage events, including Google Meet meetings.

The connection uses OAuth 2.0: you connect directly to Google and you authorize ELChat. You don’t have any keys or tokens to copy.

ELChat requests the scopehttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar. Google describes it as an access to view, edit, share and delete the calendars available to the account. The ELChat tools, however, only expose the event and availability capabilities listed below. See the official reference for Calendar authorizations.

  1. Choose the Google account that has the calendar to use.
  2. Check that this account can create and edit events on the main calendar.
  3. If you are using a shared calendar, check that the account has the right to change events**.
