Import Pages
Objective: import a set of content already prepared into a tab file.
Formats and Size
Section titled “Formats and Size”The verified treatment accepts CSV, XLS and XLSX, with a maximum size of 20 MB.
Columns available
Section titled “Columns available”The two mandatory columns are:
- Title;
- Content.
You can also associate: ID, summary, date of publication, slug, URL, categories, tags, SEO keywords and SEO description.
Import
Section titled “Import”- Open Pages.
- Launch the import.
- Select the file.
- Check the preview of the first lines.
- Match each ELChat field to the correct column of the file.
- Check that Title and Content are associated.
- Launch the import.
Prepare the file
Section titled “Prepare the file”- one line per page;
- a first line containing column names;
- a non-empty title and content;
- a unique URL if you use it;
- a consistent date format;
- no password or private data in the content.
- Wait until the progress is over.
- Look for several imported pages.
- Check title, content, URL and source.
- Test a question from the content.
- Correct the file and re-import only if the match was wrong.

The mapping explains to ELChat the role of each column; an ill-associated column can produce an empty page or content that is difficult to find. Then test a question on each imported line.
