Automatic, confirmation or blocking

Use Automatic

Choose Automatic when the action is frequent, low risk and properly limited to the right account. An availability reading or search may often be appropriate, depending on the sensitivity of your data.

Use Confirmation required

Choose Confirmation required when an action:

• modify or delete a data;
• publish, send or share content;
• changes a budget, campaign, order or appointment;
• requires a human background check.

You must then choose The visitor confirms or An advisor confirms.

Use Blocked

Choose Blocked when a capacity does not enter the desired path, even if the connector supports it. ELChat retains access to other authorized shares of the same service.

Writing

The writing badge indicates that an action changes the external service. It helps identify the risk, but your business policy remains the reference.

Example of a business journey policy

For Google Calendar, a simple policy can be:

Check availability	Automatic	Reading does not create or alter an event.
Create an appointment	Confirmation required — Counsellor confirms	The invitation engages the team and the participant.
Reprogram an appointment	Confirmation required — Counsellor confirms	The modification may disrupt an existing reservation.
Cancel an appointment	** Blocked**	The route must not remove a commitment.

Then test a reading, a creative request and an attempt to cancel. The first must succeed directly, the second must wait for confirmation and the third must be refused. This check shows that the business configuration actually corresponds to the chosen levels.
