Edit, reindex or delete a product

Edit a product

1. Find the product in the tab Products.
2. Open the modification action.
3. Browse the information groups.
4. Correct the necessary fields.
5. Record.

The name of the product remains mandatory. The update triggers the reindexing path so that the new data can be used.

Reindex

In the current view, the update action opens the amendment form. Check the data, then save to start the new processing.

Delete

You can delete a product or select several products for group deletion.

Before confirming:

• check the reference;
• make sure that it is not just a stock shortage;
• keep the source of the catalogue;
• measure the impact on the responses and recommendations.

Read the product statistics

Lines can display prints, clicks and CTR. Total conversions are also related to available events.

Summary cards

Several higher KPIs in the catalogue are hardcoded in the audited copy. Do not use them as production data until their dynamic power supply is confirmed.

Check an update

1. Wait until treatment is over.
2. Ask a question about the product.
3. Check price, stock and link.
4. Check that an old value no longer appears.

Example: updating a prize

IfChaise Atlaspass149 €to159 €, search the product by its referenceCHA-001, change only price and currencyEUR, save, then wait for the end of reindexing. Then ask: “What is the price of the Atlas Chair?” and check that149 €no longer returned.

The reference avoids changing a product with a similar name. The test after reindexing confirms that the new value is actually used; deletion should be chosen only if the product is no longer to appear, and not to indicate a stock shortage.
