Site Settings

The settings apply to the site currently selected. Always check its name and URL before saving a change.

What you can settle

In the space of the site, the widget configuration area allows you to:

• copy the site-specific installation script;
• check if the widget is detected on the recorded URL;
• adjust the wording, colours, position and offsets of the button;
• Customize the appearance of messages;
• choose AI behavior from the available roles.

Knowledge, forms, calls to action, connectors, capabilities, workflows and agents have their own screens. Not all of them are modified from the widget settings.

Edit without disrupting production

1. Select the right site.
2. Note the current value of the settings concerned.
3. Change one set of parameters at a time.
4. Record.
5. Test the widget on computer and mobile.
6. Start a control conversation.

Site in production

A recorded change may change the visitor experience. Do the tests for a calm period and prepare the back-up values.

Check installation

Use Test Connection in the installation block. The result distinguishes a detected, undetected widget or test error. If the widget does not appear, see The widget does not appear.

Example of controlled modification

To change the appearance of the siteMaison Atlas — Boutique :

1. check the name and URL of the selected site;
2. Note the current color and position of the widget;
3. Only change the color of the button;
4. save and test on a public page;
5. check the display on mobile before changing another setting.

Changing a single group at a time allows you to identify the real effect of the change and easily return to the previous value. Site control avoids a visual modification to the wrong perimeter.
