Prepare and map the product file
The mapping tells ELChat what each column of your file represents.
Available Field Groups

Associate columns
Section titled “Associate columns”- Check the file preview.
- For each useful field, choose the corresponding column.
- Leave Unmatched for a column you do not want to import.
- Check that the product name is associated.
- Check the processed data in the preview.
- Validate import.
Avoid common errors
Section titled “Avoid common errors”- do not map the same column to two incompatible meanings;
- do not mix the price with the promotional price;
- provide a currency when several currencies are possible;
- use consistent stock values;
- keep image and product URLs in separate columns;
- do not assume that a video imported as a URL becomes a source of independent video knowledge.
Use the template
Section titled “Use the template”The CSV or XLSX model takes the expected keys. It is useful to prepare a new export or ask another team to provide a compatible file.
