Gmail requests gmail.readonly, gmail.send and gmail.modify. Outlook asks Mail.Read, Mail.Send, Mail.ReadWrite and offline_access, in addition to profile information OAuth.

Login IMP

Inquire the address, password or password of application, the IMAP server and port, the SMTP server and port, then enable SSL/TLS. ELChat tests IMAP before registering the account. The visible presets cover Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, OVH and Infomaniak, but the SMTP remains to be checked with the supplier.

Check

S e-mail from another address, wait for the collection, and then reply from the Hub. Check the inbox and external reception.

Synchronization

Gmail and Outlook use subscriptions to renew; IMAP depends on the planned timing. A delay in collection does not always mean that the identifiers are invalid.

The incoming server serves to receive, the outgoing server to respond: a partial configuration can therefore collect messages without allowing sending. Send a test e-mail from another address, check its reception, and then check the response in the sending box and at the recipient.
