Understand permissions
The page Actions IA > Permissions lists the actions of the active connectors. Each line indicates the description of the action, the type of user concerned and its mode of execution.
The actions that modify a data bear the badge writing.
The three modes
Section titled “The three modes”| Mode | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| Automatic | ELChat executes the action when the application is allowed |
| Confirmation required | The action awaits the agreement of the configured person |
| Blocked | ELChat refuses execution |
Set action
Section titled “Set action”- Open Actions IA > Permissions.
- Find the connector and then the action.
- Choose Automatic, Confirmation Required or Blocked.
- If confirmation is required, choose who confirms it.
The change is recorded at the selection. If it fails, the interface restores the previous value and displays an error.
Example action setting
Section titled “Example action setting”For a CRM connector:
Rechercher un contact→ Automatic if the account and visible data are correctly limited;Créer un contact→ Confirmation required if creation is to be validated by an advisor;Supprimer un contact→ Blocked if ELChat course does not provide for it.
The mode is attached to the action, not the entire connector. This granularity keeps reading useful while protecting or closing operations that modify the CRM.
