Connect Google Search Console
What is this connection for?
Section titled “What is this connection for?”Google Search Console allows ELChat to analyze requests and pages visible in Google, to view the sitemaps and state of a URL, and then request a new search in cases allowed by Google.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- a Google account with access to the Search Console property;
- accurate identification of the property:
https://exemple.com/for a prefixed property dsc-domain:exemple.comfor a domain property.
The connection requires permission to read Search Console data and request a new account of a URL when Google allows.
Find property
Section titled “Find property”- Open Search Console.
- Select the property from the menu at the top left.
- Copy exactly its URL or write down its domain.
- For a domain property, enter it in ELChat in the form
sc-domain:exemple.com.
Respect the protocol, sub-domain and/final of a property with a prefix of URL. See Official Property Formats Search Console.
Connect Search Console to ELChat
Section titled “Connect Search Console to ELChat”- Open Dashboard > your site > IA Actions > Connectors.
- Click Connect.
- Choose the Google account and accept both permissions.
- In Settings, type the exact property.
- Record.
Check connection
Section titled “Check connection”Ask for the main requests over the last 28 days. Compare clicks and prints with Search Console. By default, ELChat ends the period three days before today to take into account the data availability time.

Important limitation
Section titled “Important limitation”Google’s application is reserved for certain types of pages, including job offers and eligible video events. Do not use this action for an ordinary page. An application does not guarantee exploration, presence in the results, or ranking.
Reconnect, Disconnect and Troubleshoot
Section titled “Reconnect, Disconnect and Troubleshoot”Reconnect the account when Google or ELChat reports an expiration. Change the property in Settings if necessary. Revoke the Google-side application to completely remove the permission.
- Unknown property: check the exact format and account rights.
- No data: wait for Search Console delay, expand the period and check that the site has impressions.
- Inspection refused: URL must belong to the property configured.
- Request refused: check the eligibility of the content and the limits of the account; an ordinary page is not supported.
Security
Section titled “Security”Reading is limited to properties accessible to the Google account. The application must remain subject to confirmation and reserved for officially eligible content.
Example: prefixed property from URL
Section titled “Example: prefixed property from URL”If the following site ishttps://www.maison-atlas.example/, type exactly this property in Settings, with protocol, subdomain and final slash. For a domain property, use insteadsc-domain:maison-atlas.example.
The format determines the scope of requests and inspections. Then ask for the last 28 days and compare clicks and prints with Search Console. Do not use the account action for an ordinary page: it remains limited to eligible content.
