Understanding capabilities

A capacity is a business name that combines one or more equivalent actions of connectors. For example, an “Recording” capability can be the tools needed to check availability and create an event.

It acts as an intermediary between your connectors and workflows: the workflow requires a capacity, then ELChat uses the active connector capable of providing it.

  • describe a need with words understood by the team;
  • reuse the same objective in several workflows;
  • grouping actions from one or more connectors;
  • choose a preferred supplier when several connectors cover the same need.

A capacity does not give an additional fee. The rules defined in Permissions remain a priority when executing the action.
