Use optional steps

Each step has the optional ** box**.

• A mandatory step must be available for the recipe to be considered ready.
• An optional step does not block this check when its capacity or connector is missing.

Use an optional step for useful but not essential enrichment. Do not use this mode to hide a critical dependency, such as the final creation of an appointment in a booking route.

The option does not bypass permissions: if the step executes, its licensing rules continue to apply.

Example: enrich without blocking

InOrganiser un rendez-vous commercial, stageEnregistrer le lead dans le CRMmay be optional if the appointment remains useful without CRM synchronization. However,Vérifier la disponibilitémust remain mandatory: without this reading, the agent cannot propose a reliable niche.

The distinction indicates what is necessary for the main result and what brings only enrichment. Disable the CRM connector temporarily to check that the workflow remains ready, then reactivate it and test synchronization separately.
