Connect WhatsApp Business

Under WhatsApp configuration

The route depends on the Meta application, its Embedded Signup configuration and the ELChat webhooks.

Prerequisites displayed

• an active Meta Business Manager account;
• a verified WhatsApp Business number;
• administrator rights in the Meta Business account.

Connect

1. Open Integrations hub > WhatsApp;
2. click Connecter WhatsApp Business;
3. choose Connect via Meta;
4. Connect the Meta Business account;
5. select the number if several are found;
6. wait for the webhook configuration;
7. Close the screen after WhatsApp connected!.

Check

Send a message from a separate number and check the conversation in ELChat. Answer manually before turning on Auto-reply.

The Disconnect button removes the connection from the site and tries to unsubscribe the Meta-side WhatsApp account.

Example of commissioning

For the number+33 6 00 00 00 00, first connect the Meta Business account that owns it, select this number in the built-in registration, and then send a message from another number. Check the conversation in ELChat and test a manual response before enabling Auto-reply.

The number is the perimeter of the connection; the test from another line checks that incoming events are not confused with the admin account. The manual response allows to control the content before any automatic publication.
